FIREHOUSE TOUR
The Firehouse is home to countless artifacts of
firefighting history we have collected over the years, including:
-1915
American La France "Type 40" fire truck; the first Type 40 ever built
by American La France
-1930 American La France "Type 245 Metropolitan" fire truck
-1935 Chevrolet "Howe" Conversion fire truck
-1937 American La France "400 Scout" fire truck
-Firefighting equipment, including helmets, bunker gear, nozzles, airpacks, wrenches, ladders, and extinguishers
-Fire department patch collections
-Firefighting-related artwork, period photographs and toys
Tours are given by group reservation (groups of 20 or more preferred). A typical tour lasts 1 hour. Don't forget your camera!
