The Firehouse is home to countless artifacts of firefighting history we have collected over the years, including:

-1918 American La France "Type 40" fire truck; one of the first Type 40 ever built by American La France

-1930 American La France "Type 245 Metropolitan" fire truck

-1935 Chevrolet "Howe" Conversion fire truck

-1937 American La France "400 Scout" fire truck

-Firefighting equipment, including helmets, bunker gear, nozzles, airpacks, wrenches, ladders, and extinguishers

-Fire department patch collections

-Firefighting-related artwork, period photographs and toys

Visits and tours are arranged by group reservation (groups of 20 or more preferred). Field trips last 1 hour, and children on field trips are welcome to partake of the numerous child-focused activities. Don't forget your camera!

Keepsake patches are available for $3.00 each. A variety of other gifts and keepsakes are available in our firefighting-themed gift shop.
